The Women Take the Floor exhibit opened on September 13, 2019 at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. This special exhibition focuses on the work of women, shifting the traditional narrative created by, especially in Western museum spheres, white, male artists to the stories of women artists. After walking through this exhibit five times after it opened, I knew a piece from its collection had to be the focus of my series.
